This beautiful piece of art has a very Oriental feel about it. The stark contrast of the white almond blossoms nestled among the dark-green branches etched against a brilliant blue sky is magnificent. The overall effect is that of a spring day somewhere in the Far East.

One can almost picture women in their colorful kimonos walking beneath the trees, and looking up to see the very scene that is captured so beautifully in this painting.

An interior decorator would place this painting on a wall in a living room that was painted a shade lighter than the almond blossoms.

This abstract art piece would seem to almost convey a circus or carnival-like atmosphere. The use of red, white, and purple as the primary colors, with delicate swirls of blue and lighter purple bring to mind a clown’s colorful costume.

The 3-D effect of the painting, especially noticeable in the swirl that is located in the picture’s very center, is a nice touch. It enhances the detail, and brings out the line that runs from one corner to the other.

Speaking of the line, one might be inclined to wonder is that stitching on clothing, or could it be a scar?

Art needs no language; all that it needs is form. Abstract art creation needs clarity of mind and thought to style a form of art with an integration of many different ideas. It gives a unique identity to the work created. Tropical Aquarium is a very beautiful oil painting in canvas that is abstract in many ways. A viewer may not be able to discern it from the point of view of the artist. Nevertheless this work of art holding a wealth of meaning is of course a visual treat. What stands out here is the large balloon glass carrying within it the affluence of the ocean. The ocean contained within the glass is brilliantly blue with the rays of a glorious sun streaming in to show the magnificent wealth contained within it – colorful sea anemones, emerald green mosses, quaint fishes and the master of the seas a large blue whale swimming unconcerned and at peace. There is more to this painting – the balloon glass is just a part of it! We have an emerald green sea as the backdrop to this painting. The sea with its gentle ripples washes the foot of a large mountain range almost worshipping its majesty – a contrast well brought out – the deep sea and the high mountains amorously co-existing. Not to be out done the brown earth with its rich layer of soil does add richness to the beauty of this abstract art that is a tribute to nature and nature lovers. This hand painted canvas wall art is a set of two contiguous pieces. It would look truly amazing on the walls of a tropical sea resort. It would not look out of place in a large family room that is open to day light either.

If indeed the skyscrapers in the immediate foreground of this painting depict the Twin Towers that were brought down in the horrible acts of terrorism that occurred on September 11, 2001, then the artist should be commended for his or her manner in which homage is paid to this fateful day.

Even if that was not the artist’s intention, the two buildings in this lovely oil painting instantly bring them to mind. But, that is all right. The painting does not project an “in your face” attitude, but rather one of dignity and pride.

The colors are gorgeous, especially the deeper reds that are depicted in the water.

The Savannas of Africa, the green grass that has sprung just after the seasonal rains, lonesome trees competing with the grass to sprout life and the splendid aura of sunset. That’s not all; majestic elephants reigning supreme wandering languorously in the vast expanse of god’s own land and the eye of an artist have made this oil painting in canvas a truly magnificent work of art. The artist has transported us all in to this wilderness by mere brush strokes. This canvas art that comes in a unique offset concept of five separate canvas pieces is a splendid depiction of perspective landscape art. The colors the artist has used to depict objects in nature are unconventional and yet there is a wholesome integration which appears very natural. The setting sun has been painted in an off white color, the clouds in shades of orange and red, the distant mountains in shades of brown blending easily with the yellow skies. Yes these are unconventional colors for a nature art, and yet one would not notice it until pointed out would they? This is the beauty of this canvas art African Adventure. This is a large five piece set of canvas art. To show off its beauty only a large wall space will suffice. This is not for a medium sized room where there would not even be enough room or wall space to visualize its beauty in entirety. This wall art is also ideally suited for travel resorts or business establishments that promote travel.

A vast expanse of Mediterranean blue skies and crystal clear water reflecting this amazing cerulean firmament with snowy flecks of cotton clouds is what the oil painting Palms Reflection is all about. This oil painting in canvas is a tribute to the beauty of nature. The artist has indeed captured nature’s splendor in its glorious magnificence. The tall bent green palm trees on emerald green land is so true to life that one can almost hear the rustling of wind passing through the palm leaves. And yet we see the lake below so still and mirror like as though a ripple would put an end to this magical spell. One look at this breathtaking painting would enthuse anybody to pack his bags and rush off to the Caribbean or any tropical holiday resort and catch its beauty live. One look at this painting is sure to make people momentarily forget their worries and their strife. This oil painting has the ability to create in the minds and hearts of anybody viewing it a serenity and calmness which mere words cannot describe. This canvas art would look splendid in a day room or in a holiday resort. Blue and green are two of the most soothing colors that could work wonders to create an aura of restful luxury. This canvas art is a set of four pieces, and yet there is a superb continuity of art that runs through all the four pieces and this smart innovation adds a unique style to this work of art.

The beauty of this oil painting lies in its starkness. The only colors used are black, white, and a very light grey, which actually seems to have a bluish tinge.

The knife design in the middle of the painting brings to mind that of a hero’s weapon, with which he has won many a battle, being proudly displayed, perhaps with the talismans he carried with him to bring him victory.

The artist’s signature at the bottom right is a very nice touch. It does not give the feeling that the artist is “flaunting” his work, but rather gives it a sense of completeness.

This is a very interesting piece of art. If the panels are separate, and not joined, it would work just as well as two single pieces.

One can easily imagine walking into a room, and viewing one panel on a near wall, and the other on a wall located further in the room. It would be readily apparent that they were exactly alike, but it really wouldn’t matter.

The colors in this painting are such that it could be hung on a wall that has been painted in a slightly dark shade, maybe a light tan.

This piece of wall art changes drastically as it is viewed from different angles. From the front, and with a little distance, it has a dark, almost sinister air about it. Viewed from the side, however, the colors seem to brighten, so that the effect is totally different.

The “spatter effect” detail itself seems to be sharper when viewed from different angles. In fact, they appear to be rather hard to discern in a front view.

The owner of this painting would need to give some serious thought to just exactly how this piece should be displayed, and might want to consider changing its angles periodically.

Almost hypnotic in their effect, these swirls do invoke feelings of peace and serenity, and this is rather unusual in a painting that has such bold, vibrant colors.

Hanging in an art gallery, however, this piece would instantly draw a visitor’s attention, especially if it was displayed in such a way that there was nothing else around to distract from it.

The dark splashes of color mixed in with the reds and yellows are a nice contrast. They help bring out the different sized swirls, so that the eye is drawn naturally from one to the other.
