This magnificent piece is called “Vivid Sky” and it’s by far my favorite painting of all time! My girlfriend just found this piece and I absolutely love it.. There are so many stunning colors, and the mountains and tree scenery is exactly what I look for in a fine piece of wall art. Paintings like this really put me in a good mood and turn a house into a home. I am going to have to find some place to put this though, as it’s over 80 inches in length and almost 4 feet tall. I’ll be searching for new artwork like this very soon!

This magnificent view of the sun setting behind the Pacific ocean is seen through the palm trees as if you are sitting on the back porch of your dream beach house. The colors are mellow and the setting is serene as could be.. The panoramic size the the three piece set adds a dynamic feel to the painting and makes this the perfect decorative wall art piece for above a couch or bed. I can picture the artist sitting there drinking a glass of red wine and painting this as the sun was setting. I wish I was there.
Blood Mountain was painted and offered for sale in 2 different sizes. Both are considered oversized, but the one I saw in person is over 72 inches wide and 36 inches tall. That is massive! If you have the wall space to fill up, then I would definitely recommend purchasing a reproduction of this fine piece of canvas art.. The red is so vivid and eye catching in contrast with gray, and they brushstrokes are perfectly smooth. This painting goes well with any abstract or modern decor and is sure to get many comments from friends and family.
Having one canvas piece smaller than the rest really makes this painting stand out. There are many artists now that utilize the set method when creating canvas artwork, but this is very unique and different.. The ribbon that cuts through the purple adds a nice touch, and the colors in general are just incredible. I haven’t seen this painting in person, but it looks like it has great texture and an extrodinary brushstroke pattern unlike anything I’ve seen before. This is certainly one of my new favorite pieces!
The cool, icey blue coloring of the magnificent piece of canvas art really catches my eye and keeps me staring. The more I look and this, the more I like it. Blue is by far my favorite color, and the blood red ends of the river set off the balance of the painting perfectly. Kinda makes you just want to dive into the paint doesn’t it? I don’t know the name of this particular artist.. Does anyone know? Drop some comments if you have any ideas.
It’s rare that I come across a piece of canvas art that actually has something unique done to the materials. This painting incorporates long brush strokes across the canvas to give it the wooden look, then the artist attached rough burlap patches to the cotton canvas, and then finally painted the texture over the burlap. Very cool, very clever.. I like this a lot. Send me any other works that you find like this and I’ll post them to the blog.
Does anyone know what this means? I like the painting, and the colors would go well with the space I need to fill, but I can’t put this up without knowing what the “purple symbol” means.. With my luck it would mean something crazy or insulting and I’d get called out someday while throwing a dinner party. I need to start painting more of my own stuff. I’ve only painted a couple canvas art pieces of my own, but they turned out very well I think. I’ll put some pics up soon.
Here is another one of my favorite Van Gogh’s.. The colors and the brush stroke patterns that he utilizes in his paintings are just magnificent. I have always wanted to see an original Van Gogh painting in person, and hopefully I will be able to someday. Doctor Gachet looks awfully depressed in this portrayal, or maybe he’s just contemplating something? I really wish that Vincent Van Gogh would have got around to painting more people. I think he does an excellent job expressing emotion through his art.
After yesterday’s blog about the spray paint artist, I started searching for the geekiest and most nerdy artwork possible.. I found hundreds of hilarious works of art, tattoos, and random images. I compiled my favorites into this top 7 slideshow that showcases the best of the best. Princess Leia is just priceless. I’m in the process of tracking down the artist as we speak to get one on my wall.. I hope all you nerds out there enjoy!
I know that this is a “canvas art” blog, but this is just way too cool not to post about.. Check out this artist and all of the cool things he does with his artwork. I am just mesmerized while I watch things like this. His techniques are unlike anything I’ve ever seen before! I would love to own a piece of art from this guy someday. Hip, modern, abstract.. This art has it all and I hope the artist becomes very successful in the art community. Open for comments as usual…
